This was my devotional this morning out of Jesus Calling:  "Rest with ME a while. You have journeyed up a steep, rugged path in recent days. The way ahead is shrouded in uncertainty. Look neither behind you nor before you. Instead, focus your attention on Me. Yur constant companion., Trust that I will equip you fully for whatever awaits you on your journey. I designed time to be a protection for you. You couldn't bear to see all your life at once. Though I am unlimited by time, it is in the present moment that I meet you. Refresh yourself in MY company, breathing deep draughts of my presence. The highest level of trust is to enjoy ME moment by moment. I am with you, watching over you wherever you go..."

Seems so very fitting!  I've been redirecting my mornings to a couple studies I'm working on.  I seem to be able to focus a little better right as I get up and it starts my day out in a VERY positive light.  In this hustle of a world we live in its very easy to get so scrambled that we do not even realize the days passing by.  Forgetting important things such as relationships and nurturing them including our relationship with God.  Add in all the different distractions - text, internet, social media, TV.  Work, kids, friends, family issues, financial burdens, Just every day life.  I've found this week with my new direction that I am enjoying the simple beautiful gifts again.  Sitting out in the pasture with my animals, horseback riding, conversations with friends.  Oh yes, I'm still very busy with this remodel on the phone constantly, searching the internet and writing checks(this my least favorite!) taking care of what needs to be taken care of and normal chores..I've been putting my studio back together so that finally I will be able to work again as well.  But with all that I've found a peace in devoting a couple hours in the morning to God starting my day off in a positive outlook.  The rest of the day brings me joy and peace, even in the stressed moments.
Blessings for a beautiful week-end friends..

Wow. This is so inspiring! Sometimes, we tend to be very busy that we forget our relationship with. We prioritize things that aren't even that important. I think it's time to reconnect with God. He's always waiting for us. We should always communicate to Him.
