Had an amazing meeting with my dear friend Marie and Pastor Brent this afternoon.  Opening my eyes to the glory that surrounds us.  The Peace, the love, the freedom only if we allow it in.  THIS has been a LONG struggle for me.. 20 some years.  Allowing someone in.. Including God.  IF you let someone in they WILL hurt you.. SO stop it before that can happen.  Kinda backwards thinking.  AND not very God like.  But a real and true struggle.  When I have allowed someone in I have gotten hurt.  WE are human.. People do human things.  What I learned today and have been struggling with is how I handle those situations. Dealing with them in a Godly way and helping others when the enemy has tried to destroy us.  Thru counsel and prayer even in this very short time together I had a HUGE AHA moment..... I'd been struggling to HEAR God.  I had a HUGE storm in my head.. Satan wanting to SHUT ME DOWN of my plans.  HE WAS WINNING...I was to the point of HE WON .. Why bother...... BUT I knew in my heart I knew and wanted this "vision" I had that I could help others thru the gifts God had already given me.  THANK the LORD I have amazing friends, an amazing church and a Pastor that could see my struggles without me even saying it out loud.  AND I am NEVER alone for I am one of Gods Princess's.  AND He has a purpose for me.  SO MUCH BIGGER than the enemy.

Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

The arms of a Gatherer are always open--to welcome, to include, to heal, to forgive and forgive again and again and to trust that in making yourself vulnerable to gather you are becoming more and more Christlike. We are not perfect--but we walk with One who is and Who loves us even though we are not perfect. So proud of you! Excited to see you grow and the people you will be helping!

Humans are not perfect. People will always tend to hurt us because, of course, we are just humans. But God is not like that, the Lord is always better than that. He is true to His words. He is good in every way. However, we should forgive if someone has done something bad to us because we have also been forgiven by the Lord. We should love because we are loved.
